CONTENT OF THE SERVICES

1-General provisions

These general terms and conditions of sale take precedence over any general terms and conditions of purchase, the latter not being enforceable against the Company. Any reservation or purchase of a service implies acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale.

The company declines all responsibility for the consequences of passengers' failure to comply with these general terms and conditions of sale and with the general and specific police regulations, without prejudice to the damages that it may claim as a result of this failure to comply.

2-Cruise regulations

2.1 The company will do everything in its power to ensure the smooth running of the cruise under the conditions stipulated in the booking.

2.2 Obligation of passengers

- from the moment they are invited to board, each passenger must immediately and strictly comply with the instructions given by the crew.

- it will not be allowed on the boat any equipment that could prove dangerous for the passengers or the crew or any animal (unless explicitly agreed)

- The company reserves the right to refuse access on board or to disembark a passenger in the event of non- compliance with the instructions of the on-board personnel and the crew may decide to interrupt navigation and in the event of non-compliance with the rules of passenger safety

- Parents must supervise their children throughout the cruise and during the embarkation and disembarkation phases. - The company declines all responsibility in the event of theft, loss or damage to clothing, hand luggage or passenger equipment.

2.3 Special Conditions

The company cannot be held responsible for damage to passengers during the cruise if it is caused by one of the following causes: flash flooding, storm, collision with another vessel responsible, even partially, for the accident and any other unforeseeable event.

3-Condition of reservation / Payment

3.1 Firm reservations, reservations only become definitive after payment of the total amount of the reserved service, agreed with the client.

3.2 Schedules,
they are agreed with the client and accepted by him.
The company reserves the right to reduce the cruise by a time equivalent to the delay in embarkation caused by the client, if this is the client's wish and if the company has the possibility of doing so, to invoice the excess time due to this delay, "pro rata-temporis ».

3.3 Invoicing / payment
The service must be paid in full to the company before departure . Any supplements (such as overtime or additional services requested by the client) may be paid at the end of the service. Once the payment has been made, either by credit card, bank transfer. An email will be sent to you to confirm your booking and to give you the captain's contact details that you can reach if necessary.

4-Cancellations

4.1 The company reserves the right to assess whether or not the river is navigable and therefore to cancel or modify the cruises at any time from the time of booking, including the day of departure.

Cruises may also be cancelled in the event of bad weather that could jeopardise the safety of the persons transported or in the event of any material impossibility of carrying out the service and in particular in the event of damage to the boat, mechanical incidents, strikes or non-payment.
In the event of cancellation by the Company, the advance payments received will be returned to the client, without further compensation.

4-2 On behalf of the customer,
- Cancellation more than 72 hours before the cruise, 90% of the total amount refunded.
- Cancellation less than 72 hours before the cruise 50% of the total amount refunded.
- Cancellation less than 48 hours before the cruise no refund possible
In the event of a passenger delay of more than 30 minutes, the company reserves the right to cancel the service, without reimbursement of the amount of the service, without other compensation

5-Miners

5.1 Reservations made by minors will not be accepted.
Reservations for underage passengers must be made by persons exercising parental authority or other persons of legal age with the necessary powers and will only be accepted if the minor is accompanied on the journey by at least one of his/her parents or by another person of legal age who assumes all responsibilities in this respect.

5.2 The sale or free offer of alcohol to minors under the age of 18 is prohibited in France.

6-People with reduced mobility

Not all areas and facilities of the vessel are accessible to disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility and/or specifically equipped to accommodate them. Reservations from disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility will therefore be accepted subject to availability and, if necessary, the presence of an attendant able to assist them, in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) No 1177/2010.

7-Applicable laws

In the event of a dispute or contestation, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction and French law shall apply. In the event of a dispute with a commercial company, these will be submitted to the Tribunal de Commerce de Paris.

To know !

Please present yourself to boarding location 10 minutes before departure time in case other boats would need to use the same docks.

Shoes with pointy heels cannot be accepted onboard because they with damage the teak wooden floor.

Always keep on free hand when moving in the boat during navigation.

Boat is equiped with electric toilets, please only use provided paper and do throw anything else in.

If cushions fall in the water, are damaged or lost, they will be paid by the client at the end of the cruise.

Kids need to always stay with at least one parent, in every area of the boat.

Le Bateau Français will not be responsible for client’s objets fallen in the water during the cruise.

Le Bateau Français has the right to refuse to embark people obviously affected by alcool.
